Essential Oil Blending & Matching Secrets

Secrets For Matching & Blending Essential Oils Effectively (They’re Good)
Blending essential oils is an art, but isn’t complex. It’s actually a lot of fun! It just takes a little practice and understanding of what oils blend together the best.
Essential oils can be classified into broad groups based on their aromas, as shown in the infographic below.
For example:
Floral (chamomile, jasmine)
Exotic (Palmarosa, Sandalwood)
Resin (Benzoin, Frankincense)
Spice (Cinnamon, Ginger)
Woodsy (Cedarwood, Juniper)
Herbal (Basil, Fennel)
Citrus (Grapefruit, Lime)
Generally speaking, oils in the same category will blend well together. You can also see below that oils from different categories can go together well. As with anything, there are exceptions and practice makes perfect! I hope you enjoy this infographic, and please do share with others!
