How to Ease Arthritis Pain with Aromatherapy Essential Oils (Recipe & Technique)
It is said that some 40 percent of adults in the USA use some sort of alternative or complementary therapy to manage various health conditions (conservative estimate IMO). If you are suffering from arthritis, you might be in this group.
Aromatherapy, a health and wellness practice that uses essential oils derived from various medicinal plants, is gaining popularity for aiding in treatment of many different health concerns.
Essential oils feature pleasant scents and potential anti-inflammatory effects. This is an ideal combination for easing joint pain brought on by arthritis.
In this video, Margie Hare demonstrates a technique for easing arthritis pain using essential oils and aromatherapy.
This is the recipe for the oil she uses in the video:
- 1 tsp sweet almond oil
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 10 drops of essential oils (frankincense, ginger, wintergreen – a few drops of each)
Mix together into a dark glass bottle or jar with screw top and store in a cool dark place.
